Zilch was created to solve a problem
We only use our cars 5% of the time, which results in a total fleet with more cars than necessary.
This volume problem generates unnecessary emissions during the manufacturing process, and indirectly through the provision of infrastructure to support the fleet.

The start of an idea
Zilch started in March 2017 as a division of Yoogo called Yoogo-Share. Yoogo was a Fleet Management and Leasing specialist company established in 2014 and majority owned by Private Equity firm Maui Capital.

In recognition of the work we had done with some of our large business customers, we won the Australasian Fleet Champions – Sustainable Journeys Award 2022.
Later that year we won the Auckland Westpac – Excellence in Innovation Award, and were a finalist in the Peoples Choice Award.
